The best three days

I‘ve had probably the best three days of my life. Not going to lie it was very hard but so worth it!! Pheng was the best guide ever and a very good cook. I am vegetarian which was no problem at all and the food was amazing. The village we stayed at the second night was absolutely amazing. The people were the most welcoming!! I had a very good time and would do it again. Thank you!
Highlight of my time in Laos!

An incredible cultural and adventurous experience in the beautiful Nam Ha NPA! From visiting the morning market to collect our food supplies, to chatting around the fire at the jungle camp to learning about the local flora and its traditional uses, this was a real immersive and informative trek. Our guide Mun spoke excellent English and the other traveller and I learnt a lot about Laos and Khmu culture from him. We barely saw any other tourists and ventured deep into the jungle which I loved. We stayed in a jungle camp the first night and Mun cooked us a delicious meal (and catered for me as a vegetarian), and a lovely homestay in Nalan Neua the second night. Swimming in the Nam Ha river with the local kids after trekking for 7 hours the second day was amazing. As an ecologist I was also excited about seeing an Asian Tree Pit Viper. The 'moderate' level for the trek is appropriate, I've never sweated so much in my life but it was so worth it! An unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to all. Thanks Tom, Mun and the rest of the team :)
Amazing nature, food and guides

In early January 2020 I did the wild explorer 3d/2n tour with one other traveller. It was awesome. The wonderful guides explained a lot about the plants and the life in the villages. They cooked the best food I had during my Thailand / Laos trip. I very much enjoyed the food made in banana leaves and bamboo. I still have my little spoon made of a banana leaf. Another souvenir is the little bamboo flute. We had much fun playing our flutes. What I liked most about the hike were the off trail parts. The first night we spent in a nice hut, the second night we stayed in a little camp on top of a mountain. The next morning, we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise. Spending these three days was a very good experience I only can recommend to everybody else who likes nature. Thank you so much to THE HIKER.

We had an analyzing experience during our trekking. Everything was arranged perfectly, from the transport to the sleeping spots and all the meals. Our guides were very nice and gave us lots of information about all the plants and insects in the jungle and about the tribes we visited. Also, they made sure we were safe and kept the group together. For the preparation of the food, they used vegetables and herbs from the jungle: it was really delicious! We would definitely recommend this trekking, it was really tough but surely worth it.
