The bicycles need maintenance, my husband eventually ended up on his third bike to get one that would work well enough.
The first thing I will say is that our guide is not normally a guide but due to demand he was today, therefore what I am about to point out I do not say about him. This is a management issue.
There were several things that where in the tour description that we never saw or did. We never saw these as listed in the itinerary
* Flower paper making
* Hmong village market
* Grave of French explorer
* Met local village people
The bicycle ride was not exact what we had expected. We thought we would be riding through the countryside maybe through small villages but the road was full of large trucks and was a very dusty, rocky road.
The kayak to the waterfall was great and lunch and the falls were more of what we expected. We had ample time at the falls before getting back in the kayak.
There was also no mention in the tour outlining if needed to kayak through small rapids. This was new to me and of a concern as I had my large DSRL Camera with me which I may not have taken if I had know this.
Overall we love the day and we saw some wonderful country but we were tad disappointed as it was not as described.
