Great tour

Great tour with an excellent guide - Mr Thin! Nice boat ride, interesting whiskey village and caves, great lunch(!) and awesome waterfalls. Mr Thin also gave us a lot of information.
the most fun we had in Laos

Excellent experience. We booked this through TripAdvisor after seeing the great reviews. Best decision we made.

Booking experience was smooth. It helped to have a local SIM to talk to the organizers and set up our pickup details.

Our tour guide Mr Thin was the highlight of the entire experience. He was patient, funny and very hospitable. He made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and understood what we were experiencing, including its significance in Lao culture.

We started the day at Kuang Si waterfalls, which was a good decision since it was relatively less crowded. Great place for photos and swimming. Do be careful, some of the rock pools can get quite deep quite suddenly.

We ended the day with the Mekong sunset cruise and Pak Ou caves (which were worth the short but steep climb).

We also visited a Hmong village (a little quiet on the day) and learned about their culture and a whiskey village (where we tasted the local rice-based liquor).
GOOD TOUR GUIDE

Thin was a great guide, taught me a lot about the history of laos and luang prabang - if youre looking to visit nice places while chilling around the city and to meet a local man who knows a lot and happy to explain, he is your guy and this is the tour for you :)
Great tour, good value, and excellent tour guide

Highly recommended. Great tour and good value for the price. Thin was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable of the history, culture and peoples of Lao. He even went above and beyond to take me to a local clinic when I ignored his advice not to climb to the top of Kuang Si Falls and took a small tumble
